Reportedly, on Monday, Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC), JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) and other top banks were hit with a proposed class action in California federal court, by a group of Visa and MasterCard cardholders, who have a view that these banks had conspired to fix the “interchange fees,” that is resulting in $54 billion in illegal charges per year.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) shares traded up 0.45%, to finished at $56.42 in last session. Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) shares went up 0.40% to finished at $15.24.

According to court documents filed on Saturday, to settle a class action, claiming that Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) had breached its fiduciary duty, by investing trustee accounts it administers, in the bank’s affiliated mutual funds, Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) has agreed to pay $8 million,

On Monday, a Florida federal judge ordered a former banker of UBS AG (US listing) (NYSE:UBS), who was accused of tax fraud, for helping the clients to avoid U.S. taxes, freed on $9 million bond. UBS AG (US listing) (NYSE:UBS) shares went down -0.44% to finished at $18.30 in early trading on Tuesday.
