Massachusetts-based EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC), the world’s largest information management firm, is pushing Thailand to become its hub to train data-science professionals. A survey by IT research firm Gartner Inc said demand for big data and data-sciencerelated jobs in Asia would be about 960,000 out of a total of 4.4 million jobs globally next year .On last trading day EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC) increased 1.10% to close at $30.38. On November 3, Valley National Bancorp (NYSE:VLY) the holding company of Valley National Bank, announced that its merger with 1st United Bancorp, Inc. (“1st United”) (Nasdaq: FUBC) was completed effective November 1, 2014. On last trading day Valley National Bancorp (NYSE:VLY) moved down -0.31% to close at $9.80. Its volatility for the week is 1.07% while volatility for the month is 1.56%. VLY’s sales growth for past 5 years was -3.30% and its EPS growth for past 5 years was 3.00%. On November 12, NCI Building Systems Inc. (NYSE:NCS) announced that it has agreed to acquire Pittsburgh-based CENTRIA for approximately $245 million. On completion, the acquisition will be accretive to NCI’s earnings from the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015. NCI Building Systems Inc.
