Legum & Norman Announces New PCAM Designation

Legum & Norman, an Associa company, congratulates Lisa Klein for receiving the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management and is recommended for experienced managers who want to demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge and who wish to be recognized as one of the best and most experienced managers in the nation.

To earn the PCAM designation, a community manager must have at least five years direct community association management experience, successfully pass the CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) examination, pass six related courses through CAI, and complete an extensive case study among numerous other items.

“The PCAM is the highest designation a manager in our industry can obtain, and we are so proud of Lisa for this amazing achievement,” said Legum & Norman Senior Vice President Hilary Lape. “Legum & Norman remains a leader in the community management industry in large part due to our team of experienced and educated professionals, and Lisa continues to set the standard for others to follow.”

Klein has served as a site manager at The WestLee Condominium since 2006. She began as an assistant community manager at Legum & Norman and was promoted to community manager shortly after. Throughout the years, she received the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation from the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM) and the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation from CAI, and also became a notary public. She has maintained a great working relationship with the unit owners, residents and board members of The WestLee due to her core belief of providing exemplary customer service.
