Toyota Motor Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:TM) To Recall FJ Cruiser SUV’s 2009 To 2013 Models

StocksToyota Motor Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:TM) FJ Cruisers which was shipped by the company during 2007 through 2013 model years is recall by the company.

The recall autos consist of approximately 209,000 FJ Cruiser SUVs and the company recall the vehicles due to fault in the front seat-belt retractors, which could fall off.

The error which is occur in the company’s new models include model of 2009 to 2013, no other will be include in this recall. Toyota Motor Corporation also said that there are no injuries reported due to the fault.

The company in their statement declared that front passenger and driver seat belts are mounted on the vehicle’s back doors, and the fault arises when doors are closed powerfully many times which resulted in formation of cracks in the door panel in the region of the seat-belt retractor and eventually the retractor become disconnected where it is attached to the vehicle.

Toyota Motor Corporation said on Friday that it will inform the vehicles owner for the recall is through sending their customer mails, the company also declared that it will repair the vehicles for free, for all of their customers.

Shares of  Toyota Motor Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:TM) in last trading session end up at $103.93 by rising up 0.38% with traded volume of 285,537 shares which is down  the average volume of 624,779 shares.
