General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) will not follow Toyota Motor Corp.’s lead in disabling air bags in vehicles with recalled Takata air bag inflators. GM spokesman Alan Adler said Thursday the Detroit automaker has parts on hand to fix about 17,000 Pontiac Vibes that Toyota produced for GM. If GM doesn’t have the parts in stock, it will give free loaners to owners, Adler said. General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) has 0.10% insider ownership while its institutional ownership stands at 70.20%. In last trading activity company’s stock closed at $30.78.

Deposition equipment maker Aixtron SE (NASDAQ:AIXG) of Aachen, Germany says that Japanese manufacturer Showa Denko has qualified its most recent system for manufacturing silicon carbide (SiC) epitaxial wafers. The new AIX G5 WW (Warm-Wall) chemical vapor deposition (CVD) system is configured to handle 8x150mm and 12x100mm SiC substrates. The firm says that it is currenty the largest production system available on the market, enabling highest throughput and lowest running cost per wafer. On Thursday shares of Aixtron SE (NASDAQ:AIXG) closed at $11.91. Company’s sales growth for last 5 years was -7.80% and EPS growth for next 5 years is recorded as value missing.
