Real Estate Concerns Among The Top 10 Consumer Complaints, Home Prices In China Rises – (MS, SCHW, LPLA)


Real estate problems such as fraud and timeshares caused it to be on the list of 10 worst consumer complaints for the first time, and mortgage woes were placed among the top five complaints, according to an annual study conducted by key consumer agencies.

The top 10 list, provided by the Consumer Federation of American and the North American Consumer Protection Investigators has recently revealed that real estate appeared at ninth place, behind complaints concerning Internet sales and landlord/tenant problems, which tied at No. 7, and fraud.

In other news, the average price of Chinese homes in 100 major cities grew in July for the second consecutive month, indicating that property prices have bottomed out.

As a result of the agreeing recovery in whole by the Company of the junior subordinated notes held by Schwab Capital Trust I which inspire the Trust Preferred Securities, the Trust Preferred Securities are being exchanged, along with the common securities issued by Schwab Capital Trust I and held by the Company.
