Oil & Gas Stocks: Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras (NYSE:PBR), Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX), Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM), ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP)


The board of Brazil’s state-run oil company Petrobras, as Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA (ADR) (NYSE:PBR) is known, has proposed paying dividends of 9.3 billion reais ($2.8 billion), the company said filing Friday. Shares of Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA (ADR) (NYSE:PBR) closed at $11.20 in last trading session. Yesterday share price of the company was traded in the range of $11.07 – $11.45. Company now has a market value of $73.05 billion. Petroleo Brasileiro Petrobras SA (ADR) (NYSE:PBR) price to sales ratio in past twelve months was calculated as 0.52 and price to cash ratio as 2.81.

Investment analysts at Oppenheimer dropped their price target on shares of Chevron Corp. (NYSE:CVX) from $140.00 to $130.00 in a note issued to investors on Wednesday, Stock Ratings News reports. Oppenheimer’s price objective would indicate a potential upside of 15.34% from the stock’s previous close. Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) stock traded in the range of $114.81 – $116.74 and at the end of the day, it closed at $115.33. Average trading volume of the company is $6.95M. Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) return on equity ratio is recorded as 15.20% and its return on assets is 8.90%.

Exxon Mobil Corporation(NYSE:XOM) increased the proportion of its reserves made up of oil to the highest in a decade as shale-drilling expertise acquired in the $35 billion XTO Energy deal was mobilized to find crude. Exxon Mobil Corporation(NYSE:XOM) after opening at $95.96, moved up 0.45% to $96.27 on last trading day. Company’s 52 week range is $84.79 – $101.74.

ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) wants to build a bigger camp and draw more water than originally planned at it’s fracking operation in the Sahtu. The company is licensed for a 150-person camp 7 kilometres from the Mackenzie River along its all-season access road. It’s applying to expand that camp to hold up to 425 people. Conoco also wants to take more water from the Mackenzie River — an additional 9,000 cubic metres annually, up from the 6,500 cubic metres its currently authorized to use. ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) stock hit highest price at $66.88, beginning with a price of $66.29 and increased 0.38% to the close at $66.50 with day range of $65.62 – $66.88. The total market capitalization of the stock is $81.54 billion.
