Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) Prohibited Game Developer’s Access to Private Details Except Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA)

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) new policy has prohibited all the game developers to use FB channel for their game websites to draw traffic because many of the game developer access Facebook’s open graph on other platforms and could easily assess the details of the game user on Facebook through their website. And to prevent all this, FaceBook has launched two latest policies which will stop this assess.

According to FB latest policy to prevent game developers to access the private details on FB, it has removed all the related option which can facilitate the game developer to draw traffic for their website such as to asses their friend list of their website users.

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) major concern was that theses game developers are using the strategy that when they asses the friend list of their user they send massages to this list and draw visitors for their websites through friend request by sending links. For this FB has removed the facilities of sending external links to friends to avoid the asses of external user to FB friend lists.

The Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) this latest initiative has affected many of the game developers business who solely depends on such business such as apps like Wrapp and TripAdvisor.

Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) one of the biggest companies in the video games has affected greatly by this change. As Zynga and FB has previously made some agreement about Zynga usage of  Facebook details, for this new change FB has provided a special privilege to Zynga and gave them some time in order to ensure a flat transition.

As Zynga (NASDAQ:ZNGA) has previously pulled out many users from FB platform and earned high revenues through Facebook, but now the two website are move apart and Zynga (NASDAQ:ZNGA) is now losing its visitors on its website.
