Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) shares slips in after hours following the downgrade to market perform from outperform at Bernstein. FB fell -1.00% to close at $28.26. On Tuesday Facebook shares -3.15% to $ 27.37 in pre-market.
After the reports of Linkedin Corporation (NYSE:LNKD)quarterly earnings stronger than expected in last week, company’s 2013 revenue guidance was exactly aligned with the expectations.
LinkedIn’s revenue from its Talent Solutions, which are used by hiring managers and recruiters, soared 90% last quarter, versus the same period in 2011.
Piper Jaffray, an analyst at Gene Munster responded to the LinkedIn’s results and raised his price target on the shares of professional network to $176 from $150.
Munster believe that LinkedIn is in the early stages of monetizing its social network to a professional network, and according to him, company may have potential to generate growth of any large cap stock he covers.
Piper Jaffray maintained an Overweight rating on LinkedIn. Linkedin Corporation’s stock gained 3.28% to end at $ 155.41 in last session on Monday, In premarket, its shares falls a fraction -0.14% to $155.20. Another social stock Yelp Inc (NYSE:YELP) shares plunged -1.01% to close at $21.63.
