The Vice President, Cisco India and SAARC Rajesh Shetty give details on it that, the fast adoption of technology among SMBs is directly related to the cost, the trim off in cost can increase rapid adoption. He further said that they have made great efforts to study the exact needs of SMBs and have developed products based on customer feedback, and their main objective is to reduce the complexity and making it easy for the SMB to configure.

Gartner Research firm estimates that in order to cater the growing potential of the SMB market, Cisco has launched multiple marketing initiatives for its partner network in India. It has also spending about 30 percent of the USD 79.8 billion IT market in India. It has also introduced a specific product in line to its strategy, the BE 3000.

The BE 3000 product is specifically developed for the Indian SMBs. The BE 3000 is also another Unified Communication tool that gives an SMB organization ability to connect anywhere and anytime with the employees.

Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) is well aware of huge opportunity in networking field with its established base and the surge in mobile and internet penetration tied to a smart positioning of products.

In its SMB portfolio, Cisco has been aggressively expanding its products like routers and switches, security, wireless, video and conferencing and network storage in past two years. The company is also seeing significant revenue that is coming in from emerging areas such as video, cloud, security and mobility.
